PHIL ROPER

Phil is a full-time international athlete and qualified hockey coach. He is a senior Great Britain and England international, with over 50 combined caps for his country.

His career highlights to date include winning Bronze at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 with England and Silver at the Youth Olympic Festival for Great Britain in 2013.

He currently plays his club hockey with Wimbledon. Previous to that he studied and played hockey for Sheffield Hallam. While there, he won the NOW: Pensions Conference North Player of the Season and Top Goalscorer awards (27 goals) in 2012/13, captained Sheffield Hallam University Hockey Club 1st X1 to their first BUCS Championship Gold Medal 2013 and was named Sheffield Hallam University Sportsman of the Year 2013.
